What is the latest date I need to register to play round 1?

You must be registered, paid and approved in playfootball by the 20th March 2025 to play round 1.

Where is your home ground?

Francesco Crescent Reserve, Bella Vista

What age group do I register into?

For juniors, you need to register into the age group that your child is turning in 2025.
If your child needs to play up an age group, you need to still register into the correct age group and notify the club of which team they should be in. We will do our best to accommodate most requests.

When will I train?

Training nights are chosen by your team manager, and they will communicate the day to you.

I want to play with my friends, how do I make sure we are in the same team?

When registering there is a question box asking if you are part of a team? – please enter you team managers name or your friends name in the question box to help us with team allocations. We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but it is not always possible due to space in teams.

How long does the season run for?

The season runs 18 rounds plus finals (if your team is eligible).
The first round of semifinals commences on the 08 th August 2025

What is your refund policy?

* Refund requests - must be made to the Club Registrar in writing via email to treasurer@norwestfootballclub.com

* All refund amounts below, are based on the Norwest FC’s share of the fee breakdown. Please refer to the FFA, FNSW and HFI websites for their refund information

* Refunds will be made on registrations as follows:
- Prior to team nomination (26th Feb 2025) - Norwest FC’s portion of your registration fee less a $20 Administration fee.
- After HFI team nomination (27th Feb 2025) and prior to HFI registration deadline for Round 1 (27th March 2025) - 50% of the Norwest FC’s portion of your registration fee. No Refund will be given, if the withdrawal of the player contributes to the team being withdrawn.
- After HFI registration deadline for Round 1 (28th March 2025) - No Refund

How do I purchase shorts and socks?

Shorts and socks are sold in the canteen at Francesco a couple of weeks prior to the season start. Please keep an eye out on our socials for dates and times.

I’ve never played before – how do I go about finding a team?

For juniors U12 and below – please register and we will find you a team.

U13+ Please contact our club registrar at treasurer@norwestfootballclub.com and we will check to see if we have a suitable team before you register.

Can I use my active kids voucher?

Yes, please have your voucher details with you when registering.

What is the Cubs program?

Our Cubs program is for children aged between 3-5 years old and is focused on basic skills, getting used to the ball and having a lot of fun. There are no formal games, nor do you need to purchase boots - runners are fine! This is a free program offered by the club.

Sessions are run on Saturday mornings from 8am - 8:30 at Francesco Crescent Reserve.

We are waiting for a registration link and it should be available by early Feb. Please keep an eye out on our Facebook page as we will post the link once it’s available.

U6's & U7's

Our 6’s and 7’s comp is held in-house and games are played on Saturday mornings and can start anytime between approx 8am -11am. All games are played at our home ground Francesco Crescent Reserve. It’s a small sided games where both teams have a coach on the pitch to guide the players during the game. No prior soccer experience is required. You will train one night a week with your team - the day of the week you train will be up to your coach and is determined at the beginning of the season however it generally falls on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Once registered you will not hear from us until early to mid March. All our teams are coached by parents so if you are interested in coaching or managing a team, please let us know. If eligible, you can also use your active kids voucher towards the registration fees.

We provide you (on loan) with a playing shirt, that needs to be returned at the end of the season and you will need to purchase shorts and socks for $40 from the canteen. You will also need to purchase soccer boots and shin pads.

We are a volunteer run club and require all members to help with field set up, pack up and canteen duty when required.
